Terms and Conditions

If you do not agree to our terms and conditions, you may not place your order through this site. If, before you place an order, you have any questions relating to these terms and conditions, please contact our Supporter Care team.

Description of products

We sell a range of products via our shop, including digital gifts and resources. We make every effort to ensure that the descriptions of items sold via our online shop are accurate.

Please note that descriptions of physical goods are approximate, and exact sizes and designs may vary. If, when you receive your order, you feel our description does not match the product you have received, please refer to our returns information below. In the event of a pricing error, we may contact you before delivery to offer you the goods at the correct price, or a full refund.

Please note that donations made via the purchase of our Gifts That Do Good e-Gift cards help us to support autistic people and their families. The donation from your purchase won’t be limited to the specific gift you have chosen, but could go towards any area of our work where the need is greatest.

Delivery

Please note that Gifts That Do Good are sent digitally and therefore are not subject to postage and fulfilment provisions.

We ship within the United Kingdom, including the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. All orders will be sent to arrive within 14 days of being placed. We use Royal Mail second class mail to send standard and large letters, and small and medium parcels. Where necessary, we send larger parcels using a secure courier service.

Postage and packaging is charged according to the size and weight of your order, and will be shown at the checkout before payment.

Ordering overseas

We are unable to ship physical items overseas. This includes printed publications, alert cards and merchandise, such as T-shirts, pin badges and wrist bands. Online products and registrations for online events can still be purchased.

Returns

Please note that we do not offer refunds or cancellations for our virtual gifting products, AKA Gifts That Do Good.

You have the right to cancel your order and request a refund, within 14 days of receipt of the goods. Refunds will be made at the price paid and recorded on the order, including delivery charges. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Products must be returned with all relevant packaging and labels, in a condition in which we can sell them for full price. Please include your full name and address, and state the reason for the return.

Cancellations

Please note that we do not offer refunds or cancellations for our virtual gifting products, AKA Gifts That Do Good.

If for any reason you wish to cancel your order, we will be happy to issue a full refund, including full delivery charges. To cancel an order, please email Supporter Care. We will then arrange to recover any goods already sent to you before processing your refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Vouchers and promotional discounts

Promotional discounts and vouchers do not necessarily apply to orders placed by telephone or mail. Please check before placing your order. Vouchers may not be exchanged for cash equivalents, or applied retrospectively to orders already accepted.

'Membership discount' may be provided for certain products, as a benefit of a valid and current subscription to National Autistic Society membership.

Any relevant membership discount will be applied automatically to your order and shown in the summary at the online shop checkout. If, before purchase and while you are signed in to the website, the discount is not shown on eligible items, please place your order over the telephone with Supporter Care, providing your membership number, to gain your discount.

Membership discounts not applied automatically to eligible online orders are non-recoverable. Please contact Supporter Care, and provide the email address used to set up your website account, to ensure future order discounts.

Sale items

We may occasionally offer some products at a discounted price. Such items, when offered for sale, will have been available to purchase from us at full recommended retail price (RRP) for at least 28 consecutive days in the previous six months, from commencement of the reduction.

Any reduced prices will revert to the full RRP when the sale ends, and remain effective for at least 28 days in the three months after the offer ends, except where products are identified as clearance items during the sale. All other terms and conditions apply for the duration of the sale.

Please note: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
